Since deciding I no longer want to have a car, I mostly walk to where I need to get as I can't be bothered with buses. This leads to incidental fitness as yesterday when I had two separate events. Admittedly, the first was an over 50s aerobics dance class, which contributed a bit to this step count

The wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh is sorely needed in these dark days.
Two years ago, it took me more than 10 attempts to beat Rhitahtyn on "very easy" mode. Today, my alt did it first time on normal mode. I know it's only a game, but I can't help feeling rather pleased with myself. Good to know I can improve on some things, though not jumping puzzles. #ffxiv

What are your terms if anyone wishes to use any of your graphics in various communications, online, leaflets etc.? I'm thinking specifically of a group to which I belong, which is involved in anti-racism, opposing Reform and similar.

I totally share your opinion. As a translator, I am watching my profession becoming ruined by AI. I count myself lucky to be past retirement age and with savings, so have the freedom to walk away when it becomes too awful.

Till today, my only knowledge of Erich Kästner was that he wrote Emil and the Detectives and Emil and the Three Twins, both of which I read as a child. I had no knowledge of his background and politics.
