It’s also true that the phone has all sorts of information and technology to deeply enrich the lives of kids, including all the information about what’s happening in the world and a simple way to coordinate their actions on a large scale.
It’s almost certainly the case that any human would see improvements in their life if they never looked at their phone in a social setting. Just can’t tell adults what to do.

The pictures we see on screens and pages are made to look like the real world, and indeed are of and from the real world. But it is a world where people look at pictures just as much as the world around them. That’s a different world then one without mass produced image.
