The “lesser of two evils” system forces us to settle for next-to-nothing out of fear. We need to end it so we have accountability over leaders to actually deliver for Iowans.

It can’t be said enough that this whole discussion about which “school model” the district should use is all an obfuscation of the real plan: close schools and take infrastructure money from core neighborhoods in Cedar Rapids and use it to support suburban sprawl
