Traffic lights were out at 7th / Hawthorne this morning so we improvised and moved up the street toward the bridge and settled near the church. All went well and one more demonstration is in the history books!

Pro-democracy protests continue at the Allegra Westbrooks Library.
Our core group of seven were joined by two newbies today, both from the Beatties Ford area. And one was one of our Dem precinct captains! I am excited to get more locals joining in.

A dozen folks out at SouthPark Mall today. We got lots of honks from the traffic, many smiles and waves. Also had to deal with a MAGA political candidate with megaphone and a stream of lies -- fortunately there's a sign for that!

ICE shooting Rev David Black after they pepper sprayed him the other day. He's the minister at The First Presbyterian Church Of Chicago, the church I grew up in as a kid in the South Side of Chicago.
