HC leans a little closer, as if sharing an important secret.

XL throws his head back and laughs. He pulls HC impossibly closer and laughs until tears spill unbidden from his eyes and clumsy hands are attempting to wipe them away.
"I'm sorry! I won't kiss you! Don't cry!"

XL returning/waking up in the apartment late one night to find HC not in bed (not unusual) but the lights are off in the rest of the apartment and he doesn't see him on the couch (unusual) and it takes him a while to notice the silhouette sitting out on the balcony with a drink in its hand

something something xie lians warm hands reacting strangely with hua chengs dead body and wherever the god touches long enough, it leaves little red marks, like sunburn. it doesnt hurt! not at all! but it looks rather,,, conspicuous, when hc has a very visible red palm print peeking from his robe
