Yeah, that sickening sweet evil is something very specific that you don't see often but it is so effective.

I do like the villains fate more than say Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter.

2025 is another great year for horror. But this film is a standout. Incredible cinematography. The narrative design is also great and I dug the aesthetic.

The villain also reminds me of Ms. Pringle from Offset lol. The ending might put off some people tonally though

The sanest Ari Aster film to date.

Also not just a covid film but a masterclass in perspective and commentary of echo chambers in society especially in the West.

Also, Ari Aster is great at action, I'd like to see more of that from him one day.

Yeah I love how I felt it was clear that silver surfer would beat the breaks off thanos without his infinity gauntlet.

Wish Kang did the same with his appearance.

This is the first time I felt Fantastic Four worked in live action. Love the retro future setting, and tbh the tone matches the source material. Also the chase sequence with silver surfer was insane. Reminiscent of Jack Kirby and Interstellar. Also Franklin Richards!

Finally saw this one. Dynamic action and I like the classic superman feel (felt like a Saturday morning cartoon brought to live action).

This might turn off some people due to the deluge of events and off beat setpieces (anti matter rivers & black holes anyone?)

I can't hate on Bleach considering how influential it was on me. I do get upset that some potential was squandered but I'm thankful the TYBW arc got animated and in the same vein as JJK and CSM so it can really elevate the series visually.

Looking forward to the Hell Arc as well.

Same. I stopped where the original anime ended and I'm just quietly waiting for it to be completed before reading the manga. But I love innocence and I think the diversity of what it can do, and the matchups especially compared to the Noah Clan was so sick. Also Crowned Clown > Vizard every time.
