I started Sarah Rees Brennan's LONG LIVE EVIL last month as a buddy read with @dhstrange.bsky.social then proceeded to have like 3 weeks of no reading time 😅

A9. To be honest, I should incorporate more daily exercise in my life in general. But certainly breaks from the computer are necessary, even if they’re short. #TWSOchat
Q9. A lot of writers also incorporate some form of exercise into their writing day, going for a run, walk or swim. Is this something that works for you? Often physical stamina helps with mental stamina so that the body can do long periods of a sustained activity without breaking focus. #TWSOchat

A8. Yes! This is pretty much the only way I write (minus Thai food). #TWSOchat
Q8. The writer Tomi Adeyemi talks about using timers to write for 20 minutes straight and then timers for taking 5 or 10 minute breaks. She also is a big Thai food lover and uses that as a reward at the end of a late night writing. Have you ever tried this method for concentrated sessions? #TWSOchat
