You’re welcome. My mission in life is connecting people with the books they want or need to read so I’m always happy when reading, to find stories I know people will be thrilled to experience.

This is why and how I survived long enough to become an adult.

I believe the true the motivation behind banning books is to keep readers in the dark. To keep them isolated and alone. Banning books disempowers readers, especially children. That's what this has always been about. That's why we can't stop fighting it. #BannedBooksWeek #kidlit

When a child reads a book and sees how a character experienced something similar and survived, it provides a lifeline to that reader. They go from feeling completely alone in the world to receiving a shred of hope. #BannedBooksWeek #kidlit

This is one of my favorite books of the last couple years. I have become so much more aware of the lagomorphs around me. It is also the book that pops into my mind every time I think of multiverses.

Infinity Gate
bookshop.org/p/books/infi...
A small cast of characters play pivotal roles in a clash of empires that span every conceivable version of Earth
Cover of M. R. Carey's Infinity Gate

A view from space where half of a planet (Earth?) is visible on the left side of the cover with its sun is just peeking around the top right side of it, creating lens flare.
The planet has vertical strips of other landscapes superimposed over it that roughly match the geography (which could be North and South America). They are, left to right
A red tinted atmosphere
A dusty desert
Brown, rocky with clouds
Green with clouds and water
Orange and blocky, with clouds.

Cover text reads
The War For
The Multiverse
Has Begun
Inifinity

💙📚🪐 #SFF I loved seeing this in an email today from BookRiot. @bookriot.bsky.social "🚀 Science Fiction leads the market with the fastest sales increases versus prior year. Growth accelerated in early July..." I didn't find much SF last year that I loved so I hope it means lots of new great SF.

Authors, check and see if your books were used. Five of my books were on the list.

💙📚🪐⏳⚡🎧 Books finished in September 2025. All were enjoyable, some more than others. Some won't be out for a few months but are well worth the wait. Sisters in the Wind and Where Rabbits Gathered were standouts. I loved Nobody's Baby, a SF mystery that won't be out until March.

Have you read The Magician of Tiger Castle? I think it's his first adult fantasy.

The new #SFF books section at Out West Books today. No room for face out on the top shelf because some publishers have started making hardcovers about a 1/4" too tall for the regular shelves.

the stairs. That was where I found and fell in love with Georgette Heyer's regencies. This chaste traditional regency in the classic tradition is a joy to read with great characters and a believable conflict.

💙📚 This thoroughly enjoyable regency romance took me back to when I first fell in love with the genre. When I was in high school I cleaned houses to save for college and one day an old retired librarian (the same age as my grandma!) I cleaned for sent me to the basement to clean some shelves under

SCAM ALERT: If by chance you get contacted by a group advertising themselves as the “Crazy Old Bats Book Club” who would like to charge you for reading your book in their book club, and who claim I am one of the Satisfied Authors, and furthermore give you an email address for me—it’s not me.

💙🪐 #SFF Finished rereading the classic Dreamsnake by Vonda N. McIntyre. It's 1 of 8 novels that won both Hugo & Nebula awards in the '70s. Was astounded by how they have held up. In a post-nuclear world, a traveling healer uses snakes in her practice experiencing loss, adventure, and love. Loved it

#SFF 📚💙🪐 Just finished rereading The Forever War and can happily say it has held up well. Truly classic. I was surprised by what I had forgotten in the 45 years between reads. Loved the relationship between William and Marygay especially having once had lunch with the Haldemans back in 2014.

📚💙🪐 #sff #kidsbooks Just finished listening to this excellent sea fantasy novel for middle grade readers through Libro.fm. It once again proves that good stories well told don’t have an upper age limit.

I loved Forever War 40some years ago when I read it. I've found some rereads make me love a book more than ever and others I wonder where my head was at when I read them long ago. Looking forward to trying TLB, somehow I missed it. It got starred reviews from PW, Booklist, & Kirkus.

Lately I've been thinking about and talking about books that have won the science fiction trifecta - the Hugo, Nebula, and Locus awards. So, I placed holds at my public library and picked up The Forever War by Haldeman and McIntyre's Dreamsnake today. Looking forward to rereading them. #SFF 💙📚🪐
