High speed rail & universal healthcare.

The 2 things every other developed country can master but the US can’t even fathom 🤷🏻‍♂️
Texas high-speed Rail 🚈

A seemingly sci-fi, nearly technologically impossible alien marvel that China and Mexico have mastered, but that Texas still dreams about as an off world perk of a mystical travel species

Where Train Dreams Meet Reality in Texas
Dallas and Houston are 250 miles apart. But if you want to take a train between them, prepare for a 23-hour odyssey that says a lot about where US passenger rail is heading.

I always knew it was the French legionnaires that had it in for Charlie Kirk…😳🙄😂
Looks like it’s going to be another perfectly normal day from the American right-wing.

“So angry” that “he considered” doing something, but “ultimately decided against it”

So. Fucking. Typical.

This is what passes for a GOP congressman with a spine 🙄
NEW: Rep. Don Bacon tells @axios.com he was “so angry” last week about the Trump admin’s proposed Russia-Ukraine peace deal that he considered resigning in protest.

He ultimately decided against it, he says, but not before giving Mike Johnson an earful. www.axios.com/2025/11/25/d...

Maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️
Maybe putting a dozen narcissistic poser Fox hosts in charge of sprawling federal agencies with millions of combined employees and vastly important responsibilities with enormous power wasn’t the greatest plan.

TLDR: Trump is supporting Hamas financially
Billionaire Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, pardoned by Donald Trump, has been accused of facilitating millions of dollars’ worth of payments to Hamas in the wake of its attack on Israel on October 7 2023. Zhao also financed the Trump family's entrance into the cryptocurrency market.

The wrong MN senator is retiring 👇🏻
Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Also- how bad do you have to be at business to lose a billion???

Perfect guy to be in charge of our government 🤦🏻‍♂️
Funny story, Jim Justice used to be a billionaire and the richest person in West Virginia, but apparently he's now in so much debt that his net worth is "less than zero" according to Forbes: www.forbes.com/sites/christ...

A trainee foreign medical grad recently asked me for advice on an infection their mom has; critically ill in home country. With current conditions, they can’t be there in critical illness and possible death.

Why would people want to come to be treated like this??

Almost any inhabited spot on earth is reachable within 24 hours. Well within the incubation period between exposure and symptoms.
By now
you have probably seen reports
about how H3N2 Flu
is spreading dangerously
in Japan,
but before you tell yourself
that you need not worry
as you are not in Japan,
remember:
you may not be there
but that doesn’t mean
that this virus
won’t find its way here.

Andor is so good, it's almost too good for Star Wars.

We got nine films of Spitfires in Space, wizards with glowing swords, Jim Henson's Muppets, plucky heroes, and operatic villains. And then we get a dark and harrowing treatise on tyranny, resistance, and the human cost to everyone involved.

He makes Trump look semi-coherent 😳
When people say mediocre white men are allowed, encouraged to fail upward, this is what they mean.

This is a presidential cabinet secretary—Head of Health and Human Services. And dude is an anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists, to boot.

No other fascists ever did anything bad with a list of Jewish people 🤷🏻‍♂️
Trump Administration bizarrely demands the University of Pennsylvania hand over "names, phone numbers and physical addresses" for anyone who "belongs to Jewish clubs or groups on campus, and anyone who works in the university’s Jewish studies program"...

Another reminder (if any needed) that Donald Trump picks people based on looks, and has no ability to assess talent. Hegseth. Alina Habba. And clearly this person 🙄

Interim U. S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan was UNLAWFULLY APPOINTED; therefore, the cases against James Comey & Leticia James are being thrown out by a federal judge.

Halligan had NO lawful authority to present the indictments.

Sorry kids. You can’t have jobs because it’s cheaper to get AI to do it 🤦🏻‍♂️
GOLDMAN has some tough words about the young college-grad unemployment rate rising to 8.5%. 👀

“.. A further deterioration in employment opportunities .. perhaps reflecting AI and other efficiency-enhancing measures .. could have a disproportionate negative impact on consumer spending ..”
