Unless you are the organizing individual or group - you do in fact have to apply for permits and jump through some bureaucratic hoops in order to legally protest in the U.S. as far as I am aware.

BUT AS AN ATTENDEE, you do not register. You are allowed to just show up.

You do not register for a protest!

You show up unannounced, unidentified, and physically put your body into the midst of the protest as one impossible to track and impossible to surveil (via human eye OR AI-assisted camera) cell in the greater organism that is a mass protest.

Just received from a colleague: looks like Penn is going to join the universities refusing the extortionary Trump "compact". I do not regret to inform you that we are going to win
