Back for another round and no longer cross-posting between social media outlets, chronicling the games, movies, and shows (hopefully) that cross my eyes throughout the year…it’s DirtDawg’s Yearly Media Thread: The Nothin-But-Blue-Skies Edition!
As of now, it's a coinflip between these two...Hades II has been a run-to-run thrill so far, while Donkey Kong Bananza is a giant love letter to the franchise with a killer gameplay loop.

The more I see the Patriots' Nor'easters uni's in motion, the more I dig 'em. They're not the best look in New England's closet, but they beat the default sets for one very specific reason: They're *distinct.*
Migrate some of these elements to the regular uni's, and we're onto something special.

Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus is a splendid little Metroidvania that can scratch anyone’s itch for a Hollow Knight-esque experience; heck, Bō is why I played both the original HK *and* Silksong this year!
I cannot recommend this game enough, especially with the chunk of new content added to it today.
