I have developed a visceral rejection for nostalgia in general.
It feels like a lot of people are just yearning to feel what they used to feel when watching their favourite movies and shows 30 years ago without realizing that part of what made them so good is that they were new and different.

I for one do not find nostalgia pandering for a decade I was not alive during and would likely be at death's door because of the AIDS epidemic if I lived through it to be appealing in any way whatsoever.
