It feels good to open the freezer and pull out a bag of sweet luscious peppers from last season, while looking out the kitchen window where our seedlings are growing up for this year. We hope one day to meet 100% of our yearly produce but honestly, 80% or so isn't bad for a little quarter acre yard.

In the yard with my spawn, planting seeds and laughing. So grateful that my twins and I can share this peaceful, rewarding hobby. Just dirt and seeds, air and sunshine. We have such a pretty little planet. Also, We got this nifty planting tool to help with spacing. Useful gizmos are useful.

I love radishes! So many colors and shapes and sizes. They grow so fast so give you that good spring productivity fix and reward you've been craving all winter. It was a chilly day but thw sun was out and the soil workable. It was a great day!
