Beautiful work. I am yawning thinking about how early in the morning you must have gotten started to be ready to capture this shit.
"Maquette de costume pour 'Le Rêve de Léonor'"
"A painting is something like a spectacle, a theater piece in which each figure lives out her part."

"When Inez came out of the water she was crying with the tiniest voice. I wasn't expecting her voice. To have a whole new person with their own voice in your arms… We live in a world that is so magical, something as mind blowing as birth is quotidian."

"The Bottom of Mind"- Ari Kwon
Ari Kwon's surreal, ethereal work visualizes the gap between an outwardly happy appearance and the private feelings of loss, anxiety, and deviation that individuals often hide.

“My art reflects the world I perceive with all my senses. People I meet and love; nature I admire; and all the things that affect the way I am.”

"Electric Feels"- Genevieve Leavold

No room for the title in the post after her long quote.
"When life feels chaotic & unfathomable, pause & listen. Listen to the murmur of the trees, the rushing chatter of a river, the birds weaving melodies into the wind. In these moments, you may hear the quiet wisdom of the world & your own place within it.”

I love this photo. The composition, the light, the editing. All really good.

Autumn in the Dolomites 💛
I have yet to find a photographer on this site who is better at capturing the light in a way that makes you feel it rather than merely see it.
Great image.

A beautiful arche shaped iceberg that we found in Disko Bay early August during one of our late night sailing.

To give you an idea the mast of the boat is around 30 meters high 😵‍💫⛵️🧊… This piece of ice was massive.

Sometimes we found some really big icebergs while sailing in Greenland…
Beautiful soft moment during endless sunset.
Gorgeous image. I've been away from social media all summer, and this is a nice way to start back in.
Really nice work!
The California impressionists applied the techniques of impressionism to paint mostly the beautiful landscape of California's coast.

Spent most of the summer assisting my sister as she goes through chemo and radiation for breast cancer. It sucks, but I was glad I had some time available to help.
I'm back now. Did I miss anything?
They're literally trying to create the Thought Police in the USA.
We live in a different time from just five years ago. You can really be punished by the state for not having the right thoughts.
"It is the treating of the commonplace with the feeling of the sublime that gives to art its true power."

Jean-Francois Millet

Hugh Cameron was a Scottish painter who, like Millet, specialized in painting the beauty of the commonplace.

Back after a multiple week absence assisting my sister through chemo.
Glad to be back.

And Fuck cancer!
I didn't notice until I saw the comments, but I forgot to put the X in Pope Leo XIV.
Mea Culpa
Yes, I missed the X.
It's Leo XIV
