Another winter bloom we love is the Japanese apricot tree in Flowers Field! From January through February, it shows off its delicate pink flowers against bare branches to brighten up winter days. 🌸🌳

It's official! The ginkgos are golden! Now that they've burst into their vibrant hue, they'll soon drop their leaves in one dramatic flourish and the blanket they leave behind is almost as stunning as the leaves on the tree! 💛🌳

Ginkgo watch week 3! 🌳 Did you know the leaf of a ginkgo tree represents happiness and good fortune? Ginkgo’s fan-shaped leaves are thought to represent the future spreading out before us.

When these lucky leaves turn their beautiful golden color, they do so all at once, so stay tuned!

One of our favorite parts of Dix Park in fall is the ginkgo tree on Hunt Drive! It hasn't found its color quite yet this season, but we'll be keeping an eye out each week for those golden leaves! 🌳💛
