The Special Libraries Association opposes the elimination of the IMLS

George Etzweiler, a regular in my local running community who was still running the Mt. Washington Road Race in his 90s and as part of a relay team for the Tussey Mountainback as a centenarian, died at 105. I was honored to interview him once and it was a joy to see him out running the forest roads.

They cut journals from respected university and non-profit society presses and kept journals from big for-profit publishers. Librarians know how to use data to cancel subscriptions to meet budgets--this is just gutting our National Library of Agriculture, which supports the work of the USDA.
