Note that the current RAM crisis isn't a supply chain issue, but a bet by manufacturers that making memory chips specifically for AI data centers is more profitable than selling hardware to consumers
There have been a lot of small inflection points where people who were not skeptical of AI as an industry started to get there but the RAM crisis is huge because it negatively impacts everyone but specifically the people most likely to cape for it in a tangible, real way.
