So, the gift of a Qatari plane and the new Qatari military presence in Idaho, and Kushner's deal to develop real estate in Qatar, none of these had nothing to do with the ceasefire?

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

I think the radical right knows it couldn't pass appropriations, so now it requires a continuing resolution, and they only know
one way to resolve this: force.
During FY 2025, Congress did not pass any of 12 regular appropriations bills. Fed. govt. must instead be funded by a 12 mo. CR.

We are seeing the risk inherent in dismissing actions as “just theater” all along. This is theater, but there’s no “just” about it. It’s not civil war, but it’s the posturing performance of civil war’s elements (“your troops can’t match our troops”). As such it’s drawing closer to the full deal.
Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas fully backed the deployment.

“You can either fully enforce protection for federal employees or get out of the way and let Texas Guard do it,” he wrote on social media. “No Guard can match the training, skill, and expertise of the Texas National Guard.”
