I have a half-baked idea to encourage AtProtocol adoption.

For apps that already exist, encourage the pattern of import and export using a lexicon. (It might be a lot of work rebuild the whole app to use ATProto but this could be an easier way to start)

Talking about innovation, nothing beats the overall impact of open protocols and open source.

The "old" standards like TCP/IP, SMTP, and HTTP are what truly unlocked the economic growth in today's tech industry.

Facebook, Netflix, Spotify all depend on and profit from open standards to this day.

Talked to my friend's 14 year kid. He asked his mom to set up a Wealthsimple for his allowance so he could invest in Vanguard. Smart kid.

However, you know that famous story from the 1920s about the investor who was spooked when the guy shining his shoes gave him stock tips. This is mine.
