Agreed. After the first year, it became clear that Power protects power, and he was either bribed, blackmailed, or intimidated, afraid, and lacking the courage needed. Biden really let us down also by not replacing him. He's the only one Garland answered to. Biden should have understood the urgency.

We all need to start doing this. Send the White House paper airplanes with our messages on it as a protest. (But I'm not sure if the 1st Amendment would allow us to fly them over the White House fence without getting arrested...)

I get that "disappointed parent" feeling. It's always disheartening when well-known pro athletes accept an invitation from him. I don't know if they fully understand that he's always in "exploitation mode"... And, I mean 24/7.

Corporations are spending more on lobbyists. In 2024, the amount spent on lobbying reached $4.5 billion, with the Pharmaceutical Industry leading the way at nearly $400m. Lobbying doesn't always =bribery/corruption. But more $ means more corruption. They have guidelines to follow on reporting all $.
