I went to buy a few nuts and washers from my local Toyota dealer. Nothing special—used to fasten a drive shaft. The quote was $129, to which I replied “that’s nuts.” (Yes pun). I bought the same parts online, including shipping, for $43. Exactly 1/3 the cost. In rural Maryland. Make it make sense.
