The longest-running, still updated Doc Savage website. We're the holding company for the Flearun and the Bronze Gazette.
Is it me or does this new Doc Savage figure look like Alan Ritchson? #docsavage

Born Feb. 1, 1908, George Pal was the producer of the only professional Doc Savage film. Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze was released to great expectations and little fanfare. It was Pal's last film. #docsavage #pulp #adventure #film #georgepal

Looking to sell or trade (DC silver, DC western, etc.) Let me know if you have any interest and we can “chat” and I can go over the issues in detail. Most in fine or better shape. Some less. Not looking to make a profit on what I paid, just looking to recoup a chunk of what I put into them.

Michael Anderson directed George Pal's production of Doc Savage (1975). He was born this day in 1920. #docsavage #pulp #film #georgepal #adventure

Reverend Post didn't remember it well... Doc Savage didn't use an island, and he didn't kidnap every criminal. The operation? Yeah, he got that right.

Happy Philip José Farmer Day! Farmer's "biography" of Doc Savage still stands as the preeminent study of the character and the novels.

Happy Harold Davis Day! Davis is a lesser known "Kenneth Robeson." He wrote or co-wrote 13 Doc Savage pulps. #docsavage #pulp #adventure

One Doc Savage pulp didn't use the Kenneth Robeson byline.

Lester Dent asked Charles Moran to allow the use of his name to grace a novel, and it came to be -- on the title page but NOT on the Table of Contents! The editor that replaced Moran in the middle of the process had other ideas. #docsavage

For Lester Dent, today was a big day 93 years ago. He had turned in his first Doc Savage novel the day before and got the $500 check delivered on Christmas Eve. There is no record as to what Dent bought with that check.

Kenneth Robeson: A house name, a shared imagination, and pure collaboration. It's only fitting to have a day celebrating "the" writer of Doc Savage. #docsavage #pulp #adventure

My dear Doc Savage fans. This Graded 3.0 copy of pulp #1 sold today for $12,000 USD.

Whoever purchased it, I am glad you have such disposable income, but you purchased a book you can't touch. A book that is flaking away before your eyes. I'm a fan, but the prices are out of touch. #docsavage

From office boy to vice-president at Street & Smith, Henry W. Ralston helped shape the golden age of pulp fiction with magazines like The Shadow and Doc Savage. He wasn’t just publishing adventure; he was shaping an industry.

Born Nov 4 1917, Babette Rosmond kept Doc Savage alive at Street & Smith in the 40s, editing the pulp through its mid-decade transformation. Later a trailblazing editor, author & health activist, she proved that adventure wasn’t just for the men on the page. #DocSavage #pulp #adventure #pulpfiction
