Constitution Art1.s8.c18 says Congress has the power "to make all laws..necessary for carrying into execution all other powers vested in this Constitution. Art1.s7.c1 All bills for raising REVENUE shall originate in the House. Art1.s8.c1 "Congress shall have power to pay debts.."

The 2024 SJC immunity decision does not cover Chief of Staff, advisors or Executive officers. Assault, extortion, unwarranted search & seizure, are crimes in all states. Also the Uniform Code of Military Justice bars following illegal orders like killing unarmed civilians.

It’s time for the Supreme Court to finally issue a ruling on tariffs. The Court has already recognized that tariffs function as a tax on the American people. A president cannot unilaterally impose new taxes on American citizens that power belongs to Congress alone.
