You can't pause for more than ~3 minutes, progression is basically just upgrading weapon rarity in levels like Warzone and if you choose to play solo with no online fill, you get ZERO AI companions while still having to hear their stupid dialogue. It's utter trash compared to the BF6 campaign
The story campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has numerous restrictions tied to its always-online nature, with no method of pausing levels. You'll also be booted from your game if you're idle for too long.
