I'm excited to announce that @vemetric.com is now Open Source 🎉

After a long period of thinking about this, and exchanging with others, I finally decided to operate Vemetric under an open-core model, making its codebase openly available

Let me tell you a bit more about it 👇
added this smooth animation when switching between dark and light mode in Vemetric because .. why not? :D

been playing around with clawdbot these past days to have it integrated into my Slack server as personal AI assistant

one channel per topic

tbh, especially as a solopreneur, this feels great, as it’s keeping in mind the details and helps you plan + bounce off new ideas

yesterday it was the left one 😤

took me a bit longer than expected because I also handled some other things and fixes with it (e.g. proper fine granular project access for organization members) but not multi orga support is live 🥳

next: Organization Settings + a proper UI to manage members + their access

smaashing into the new year 🚀

I'm slowly getting the hang of integrating AI agents into my daily workflow, let it be for coding or for other tasks

two years ago some gurus on X told me I'll be too late if I don't learn it IMMEDIATELY

doesn't feel like I'm too late at all 🤷 .. we're all learning, adapting, and improving

Claude Code helped me to fully automate the process of publishing Blog Posts from Notion exports (I already had a script in place, but still had to do some steps manually) 1/2

I was whining about a slow December for Vemetric

now in the first week of January there were already more projects onboarded than throughout the whole month of December + we crushed through the 100 active projects metric 🤯

let's goo 🚀

Being emotionally disconnected from your product and making rational, data-based decisions, while still caring and putting in the love for the details, is so hard for me

But it likely yields the best results for both the product and the users

Monthly update for @vemetric.com: December 2025 🎄

🌐 98 Active Projects (+5)
⭐️ 327 GitHub Stars (+10)
📈 723.160 Events Tracked (+91.653)
💰 $131 MRR (+$5)

I've included Organizations in Vemetric's data structure straight from the beginning (a user can be part of multiple orgas, orgas have multiple members with roles), but they weren't visible in the UI, just automatically created during onboarding

that's going to change soon!

another one that was long overdue: showing comparisons to the previous period for all the main stats on the Vemetric dashboard

December seems to be the first month where I won’t reach the proposed growth goal 🥲

little improvement for the calm days between the years: showing a usage history for each organization in Vemetric

did this together with better warnings when the organization exceeded the event limits

first time I saw Claude Code giving me some convenient options to choose from, instead of having to fully type a prompt (still possible if needed)

one day I want to build a one-time purchase product 🙃
December 23, 2025 at 8:04 PM
today I tried to add a new incoming webhook to one of my Slack channels

never seen such a convoluted mess of nested settings

since March, I'm on a 263-day posting streak (not counting weekends) .. and I'm not sure if I should keep doing it

having the urge to post every day ensures that I really keep doing it and stick with the habit .. but there are days when I don't feel like posting at all..

very unsure about this
