I'm excited to announce that @vemetric.com is now Open Source ๐ŸŽ‰

After a long period of thinking about this, and exchanging with others, I finally decided to operate Vemetric under an open-core model, making its codebase openly available

Let me tell you a bit more about it ๐Ÿ‘‡
view transitions for the win :)

clawdbot has a notion skill for that

the cool thing about clawdbot: you just chat with him :D .. โ€žhow can I give you access to to Notion?โ€œ .. he responds with a detailed guide with links to the Notion pages where you create an App token and specify which pages / databases he can access

its awesome

atm I just have several Slack channels for different topics

I gave it access to my Notion so it can help me with quarterly planning for Vemetric

I'm still exploring the possibilities, it's already very helpful :D
January 9, 2026 at 10:13 AM
been playing around with clawdbot these past days to have it integrated into my Slack server as personal AI assistant

one channel per topic

tbh, especially as a solopreneur, this feels great, as itโ€™s keeping in mind the details and helps you plan + bounce off new ideas

yesterday it was the left one ๐Ÿ˜ค
January 8, 2026 at 10:12 AM
took me a bit longer than expected because I also handled some other things and fixes with it (e.g. proper fine granular project access for organization members) but not multi orga support is live ๐Ÿฅณ

next: Organization Settings + a proper UI to manage members + their access

oh damn, didnโ€™t know it was this bad for Tailwind :/ .. hope they can find a another way to monetize it

and as exciting as LLMs and its capabilities are, the disruption is definitely scary .. I think this comment describes it very well whatโ€™s happening to Tailwind: github.com/tailwindlabs...

smaashing into the new year ๐Ÿš€
January 7, 2026 at 1:15 PM
I'm slowly getting the hang of integrating AI agents into my daily workflow, let it be for coding or for other tasks

two years ago some gurus on X told me I'll be too late if I don't learn it IMMEDIATELY

doesn't feel like I'm too late at all ๐Ÿคท .. we're all learning, adapting, and improving

he could relax, but he decides to put in the reps while his bros are working hard ๐Ÿซก

now I just have to pass the folder of the Notion export to my script, and then it moves all the files, compresses the images, and properly formats everything - I just have to do a small quality check if everything looks fine

probably gonna save me another 5-10 mins per blog post :D
January 6, 2026 at 9:42 AM
Claude Code helped me to fully automate the process of publishing Blog Posts from Notion exports (I already had a script in place, but still had to do some steps manually) 1/2

I was whining about a slow December for Vemetric

now in the first week of January there were already more projects onboarded than throughout the whole month of December + we crushed through the 100 active projects metric ๐Ÿคฏ

let's goo ๐Ÿš€

and I often think that there might be better things to do in order to grow the product faster, but my fear is that when I just do those things, I lose the emotional connection + motivation to ship polished things as it feels more robotic
January 5, 2026 at 11:02 AM
personally I'm acting mostly on my gut feeling to decide what I should tackle next and what I want to spend my time on

Being emotionally disconnected from your product and making rational, data-based decisions, while still caring and putting in the love for the details, is so hard for me

But it likely yields the best results for both the product and the users
January 5, 2026 at 8:52 AM
That's it for this month, let's start into a new year for Vemetric!

I'm definitely looking forward to push it further and build Vemetric into a mature analytics solution this year ๐Ÿ’ช
January 3, 2026 at 10:56 AM
At the moment, I'm working on some fundamental things, like a proper UI for Organization and General Account Management.

I'll probably also be tackling the Public API for Vemetric soon so that users are able to fetch the stats of their projects programmatically.
January 3, 2026 at 10:56 AM
Also I started publishing Customer Stories - I'm proud to already have so many great users on board and it's great to present their stories to future users as well ๐Ÿ’ช

In December I was able to finish some overdue Server Upgrades + features like Dashed Lines for incomplete data + Period-over-Period Comparisons
January 3, 2026 at 10:56 AM
December was definitely a slower month, and that's probably expected. I also took some time off and enjoyed the holidays with family and friends!

But when I look at the stats above, I can see that we're heading towards 1M Events tracked in one month .. that's awesome!
January 3, 2026 at 10:56 AM
