I could wake up tomorrow and find that a lot of bad people in power including the president died and I wouldn't give one flying fuck. In fact, that nasty bottle of cheap champagne in the wine case might get cracked open so I could say good fucking riddance. I don't care what happens to them at all.

We're not good at this Christmas tree ordeal. We knew when buying one it wasn't going to be best on the lot. It needed trimming, sadly. As we clipped, we offered our apologies declaring mother nature made it perfect for her needs and our needs were just a little different. It's about a happy tree.

We're not good at this Christmas tree ordeal. We knew when buying one it wasn't going to be best on the lot. It needed trimming, sadly. As we clipped, we offered our apologies declaring mother nature made it perfect for her needs and our needs were just a little different. It's about a happy tree.

It really is a beautiful post Thanksgiving day. After our walk we drove to Edmonds to see the Olympic Mountains. People are definitely hitting the parks today.

A walk on the Eastside at Redmond's Marymoor Park. Claude and Lulu had their morning walks here their first 5 years. I'm disappointed I missed the sunrise on such a still morning.

The 10 inch pecan tart with cranberry, chocolate, and orange for the two of us. For the first time the brewery close by is open on Thanksgiving. Most of this will go there, hubs can't eat it alone, I can't eat it at all, wheat hates me.

Traditions change. As time move forward, most things change for various reasons. My meal today is not going to be traditional at all. But, my dressing will stay the same. I've made it the same for 50 years; my mom made it the same way before me. I will have more food but dressing is all I need.

This is an odd post for me. Today I am especially thankful for the bond that me and my siblings share. The 4 of us are uniquely different, we celebrate our independence, our difference, and our stubbornness that binds the four of us. We're thankful for our folks who instilled that respect in us.
