Decent guy, husband to my husband, missing my dogs Claude and Lulu. I'm a #foodie, I'm a feeder. I'm getting older. Full on Seattle liberal! No crypto. No DM's! Please have a bio and posts💙🌊🐶🍕🍺🏈🏳️‍🌈🇺🇦

From a couple of years ago. We had friends over for a small party. Gloves and socks we requested to help the cold and the unhoused. Think about it for your holiday party.

Social media memory, I took this pic from the car driving across the twin bridges heading out of Anacortes going east, one year ago.

There is something so rewarding about getting up early and getting outside for the sunrise. To make it better, I saw three elusive beavers this morning. The slightest movement, they dart under water. Not easily photographed.

Last pic. It was a glorious sunrise. I need to go make breakfast and go to a football game. Have a great day!

Well shoot, this was worth waiting for. It's going to be a perfect day for a Seahawks game.

Good morning from the shores of Lake Washington. It's a bit chilly out here, 31° I raced down here just to get a sunrise picture, I have a busy morning before we head to the Seahawks game.

Tahoma, from 70 miles away. It looks like it got some snow this past week.

Good morning from Magnuson Park on Lake Washington. Great sunrise, leading to what will be a mostly gray day. I'll take it, it won't rain. Have a good day.

It really is a beautiful post Thanksgiving day. After our walk we drove to Edmonds to see the Olympic Mountains. People are definitely hitting the parks today.

This is a random photo from 2 years ago today on the shore at Magnuson Park. There's something prophetic about this shot. The cheap plastic Christmas ornament washed up with a tiny dead fish. It's disturbing.

A walk on the Eastside at Redmond's Marymoor Park. Claude and Lulu had their morning walks here their first 5 years. I'm disappointed I missed the sunrise on such a still morning.

My old neighbor sent this pic of Claude and Lulu from 16 years ago today. 😭 Thanks for the great 15 1/2 years babies.

The 10 inch pecan tart with cranberry, chocolate, and orange for the two of us. For the first time the brewery close by is open on Thanksgiving. Most of this will go there, hubs can't eat it alone, I can't eat it at all, wheat hates me.

Traditions change. As time move forward, most things change for various reasons. My meal today is not going to be traditional at all. But, my dressing will stay the same. I've made it the same for 50 years; my mom made it the same way before me. I will have more food but dressing is all I need.

The lake front park I walk got so crowded, we left. We decided on finishing at the closer to home forested park.

Are you an 80's music fan? We have a Thanksgiving tradition in this house of blaring the fun tunes from the local High School. Their Thursday regular save the wave show will play for 5 hours. It's fun! You can live stream C89.5 from your kitchen. KNHC will keep me moving today.

What a wonderful day for Thanksgiving. At Magnuson Park it's gray, it's chilly, the air is still, it's quiet. Kitchen aromas will hang in the air, intriguing appetites and perking senses. Have a great Thanksgiving with the ones you love everybody.

My social memory today. My late old buddy Claude squeezing into a bed he doesn't fit, like me and some of my favorite shirts.

Oops. Hubs shot this from an apartment across the street from where he was working. That's not an apartment, this is the new Bothell Fire Department.

The end of a pleasant walk. Oddly, once again, there's nobody here. I'm not complaining.
November 26, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Good morning from the shores of Lake Washington. It's really gray, I had to go back 4 years today for this shot. Have a great day. It's dark in the park.

My late sweet Stella was diabetic for half of her ten years. Due to her size, 145#, she was on human insulin. I couldn't afford to do that these days. Controlling it was hard, I was always looking at her gums for a color check.

The beaver ponds at Seattle's Magnuson Park is my happy place. I have to check my BP multiple times a day. I try to mentally transport myself here when I take a reading.

Good morning from the shores of Lake Washington. It's really quiet down here at Magnuson Park today, but I'm pretty early. I really had to look back in time to find a decent picture of the day because it's very gray and gloomy down here. Have a great day!

Yum! Thai style stir fried green beans with shitake mushrooms and crispy tofu. A lot of garlic and ginger in this dish.
