I've heard mixed opinions of it over the years.

Usually nothing but praise for the story and character elements but the mechanics being love or hate. Super excited to get fully into the game tho!

I think in general fandom would be a less shit place if just two things happened

1) Being one of the "original fans" doesn't mean you appreciate something more than newer fans
2) It's not your sacred duty to ruin something you don't like for everyone else

I’m loving the live action How to Train Your Dragon but I’m feeling at times that it is too much of a 1 to 1 remake that what was the point.

It’s even to the point where I think that the lead actor is doing his best Jay Baruchel impression
