Trump’s overall approval continues to fall, and along with it the GOP’s hopes of holding the House majority. Even the Senate may be in play if current dissatisfaction levels persist.

The DOJ launched an investigation into Good and her widow instead of Good’s killer. That move caused a mass exodus of lawyers from the Civil Rights Division and from the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s office

The SAVE Act doesn’t enhance election integrity. It just makes it more difficult for qualified Americans to vote. It takes on the form of a classic poll tax. Public opposition to the bill put an end to it last year. It’s time to gear up again.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Because the agency is apparently counting arrests, not actual deportations, agents seem to be arresting first and only subsequently checking to see if the detainee is an American citizen or someone who is otherwise permitted to remain in the country.

The drive for numbers has led agents to pursue cases involving babies and grandmothers, instead of the dangerous criminals Trump has promised to get off the streets.

Trump and his allies are pushing Senate Republicans to pass a new version of the SAVE Act. Marc Elias explained that although no one knows what will be in the new bill, “the idea of a bigger, more aggressive SAVE Act should concern everyone who cares about free and fair elections"

As of this weekend, Democrats are going on the offensive with a number of Democrats saying they will not agree to legislation that funds ICE without changes to the way that agency has been conducting itself.

The government will shut down Friday, January 30, if no budget agreement is reached. The White House is, in a violation of the Hatch Act, blaming Democrats for the last shutdown, which happened because Republicans failed to pass a budget despite holding majorities in the Senate and House

DHS has become less a law enforcement agency than a political shock force—one that now operates with an openly ideological mission, unconstrained by norms of proportionality, accountability, or civilian oversight.

Trump’s Truth Social post was inflammatory and authoritarian. Trump declared the dead man a gunman, cast ICE officers as besieged patriots, accused state officials of insurrection, fabricated a conspiracy involving Ilhan Omar’s finances, and reframed a police killing as heroic.

Trump playbook: leak selective “evidence” into the media ecosystem to poison public perception before any independent review can occur. The public was not offered context, body-camera footage, ballistic analysis, or witness testimony—only a photo and a conclusion.

In memory of parents and grandparents who made the supreme sacrifice — in memory of Renee Good and Alex Pretti — we must bring down this regime. The first step is a massive general strike.

Across America and across the world, people are realizing it’s not possible to appease America’s dictator. The only way to deal with him is to stand up to him — and the only way to stand up to him is by joining together against him.

How rich is it that Noem is saying showing up to the scene of a protest with a legally owned weapon should be grounds for a person’s death, execution at the hands of the state, by the same party and the same administration that praises Kyle Rittenhouse.

Don’t let this White House lie to you. Believe what you see.

Alex Pretti was trying to help a woman off the ground. Then immigration agents tackled, shot, and killed him.

It’s time for them to get the hell out of MN.

Noem, Miller, and Trump said Alex Pretti was a domestic terrorist who approached CBP agents while brandishing a 9mm pistol. Agents attempted to disarm Alex, who threatened to massacre them. They feared for their lives, they shot him in the back and then pumped 9 more bullets into him

Alex’s last act was one of kindness and concern. He attempted to help a woman to her feet who had been shoved to the ground by CBP agents. As he tried to lift her up, CBP agents swarmed Alex, pepper-sprayed him, beat him with a pistol stock, and then shot him 10 times.

On Saturday, US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents carried out an extrajudicial execution of Alex Pretti, who was a US citizen, an ICU nurse at a Veterans Administration hospital, and a patriotic American who was filming ICE and CBP as they continued their invasion of Minneapolis.

The facts in the Alex Pretti are even clearer, and it’s only a matter of time before Minneapolis Police arrest the killers and charge them with murder. If the killers have fled Minnesota, local police in other jurisdictions can arrest them.
