Feeling a bit apprehensive about Octopath 0’s recycled story + new party mechanics. Octopath 2 was the pinnacle of turn-based JRPGs imho... I wonder how they can even top it?

Asked about the celebrations happening around the anniversary of the series he was asked if there were any game developments happening. In his reply he appeared visibly flustered and said that it is not something he can actually talk about yet, leading many online to speculate that a new Chrono Trigger project is in the works.

I hadn’t realised just how much extra content Sea of Stars offers. Beyond the secret ending (which takes quite a few steps to unlock) there’s also a free DLC that adds a solid 10 hours of gameplay! And now I find myself spiraling into despair, because Octopath Traveler 0 is dropping in mere days 😱
