Our new mini-comic is out - “Bad Day”. The main character is a girl named Oksi. She's going through one of those days that keep crashing over her again and again after some deeply traumatic events.
Besides Aristotle, I also picked up a couple of comics (both seem to be French), but I’ll talk about those separately - after I’ve read them.
To make sure I don’t abandon the book halfway through, I’m declaring Thursday my “philosophy day” (until I finish this book) - I’ll read at least a little every week and share my thoughts along the way.
By the way, I hold a master’s degree in math and CS, and a bachelor’s in physics. As for Aristotle, I became curious to assess the depth of his thought myself, rather than just take it on faith that he’s one of the greatest philosophers of all time.
I’ve got some new additions to my library. I decided it’s finally time to get acquainted with the works of Aristotle. Yes, yes - I make and read comics, but I’m also interested in other things.
Getting ready for Halloween, my dudes!
Our latest work is a one-page comic. You’d think it’s just a single page, but it actually revealed quite a few problems. And how do you solve problems like that? By learning from the best, of course! @vivilisi.bsky.social has started taking a themed course, and these are her first practice pieces.
So far, I’m managing, though sometimes I still have to come up with topics on the fly. Yeah, I really should sit down and prepare a batch of posts in advance but laziness keeps winning, as always 😅
Honestly, that question has been with me since the very beginning of my work on comics. Some kind of social media activity is basically a must, but creating comics, illustrations or even sketches takes a lot of time - new stuff just doesn’t appear as often as I’d like…
When I decided to be more active on social media this summer, my biggest worry was - would I even have anything to post about?
Looks like I’ve finally wrapped up a big task on my work project - which means I’ll soon be back to making comics. I’ve been thinking for a while about which story to pick up next, and in the end, I decided to revisit a heroine I’ve been wanting to explore in more depth. Seems like her time has come
the “explosion-punch-silence” variety.

As for the comic itself - it’s definitely impressive and visually striking. You can’t take that away from it.
In one of the issues, I even counted the number of words and there were… well, let’s just say, not that many. Some other comics have the same amount of text packed into just one or two pages. In terms of dialogue density, “BRZRKR” confidently rivals action movies of
I couldn’t quite figure out what exactly they were planning to adapt. The first issue could easily fit into 5-10 minutes of screen time and it would be one continuous fight scene.
BRZRKR is pure action. Interestingly, the news about the comic and Netflix’s plans to make a movie based on it appeared almost simultaneously or at least within the same year.

When I started reading BRZRKR,
The comic “End Point” was my last attempt to start something big or at least bigger than the stories we’re doing now.

Overall, I understand what the whole story is about. Writing the first issue came pretty easily but things stalled with the second one: I just couldn’t
Continuing our experiments with phone wallpapers 📱

This time - Death from our latest work ☠️

And some good news: I’m almost done with my work projects (hopefully 😅) and will be back to making comics soon. Can’t wait for that moment!
And the new followers… wow, that’s something incredible! 🎉 They didn’t come from ads, promos, or follow-for-follow - just people who saw what I’m posting, liked it, and decided to stay. There aren’t many yet, but it’s already a great sign that I’m moving in the right direction.
Looking at my social media stats, I’m starting to feel a cautious optimism. 😊 I’ve spent so much time working on comics that I barely paid attention to socials. So even a few hundred views per post and around 10k total for the month already feel like a big achievement to me!
“ALL YOU NEED IS KILL” looks amazing! I hope they'll be showing it in cinemas in Astana.
For comparison, I’ve added the original version too. After a dozen experiments with lighter tones, even that one now feels too dark to me! You can use either version as your wallpaper if you like 📱

Which one do you prefer - the original or the updated one? 👀
We’ve updated the artwork with Anna - the heroine of our mini-comic “One More Time”! 💫 We tried to make the background light enough for iOS to recognize it as a light theme and switch the text color to dark. But apparently, even this version is still too dark for it - so we gave up in the end 😅
Here’s Victor from our mini-comic “One More Time”! Unlike Anna (the girl from the previous artwork), he came out almost instantly - no extra revisions needed. We only tweaked the canvas size a bit so the wallpaper would look better on phones.

I’ll post the updated version with Anna tomorrow 👀
