this is the same line of thinking that leads to people crying out "waifumons!" every time they release a new feminine digimon btw. there's a real casual misogyny in the digimon fandom that makes existing in it as a woman incredibly aggravating

I'm reminded of this again, cause' of a post I've read on another site as it reminds me that I wished some of the feminine-designed Digimon should also have freaky-looking ones equally enough just like how the masculine-designed Digimon has both.

From five days ago, I've learnt that the Final Forms' artwork for Ryo and Maria were designed and drawn on cardboard by the late Marino Nishizaki as I've found out by this blog by someone who also provided the original source of the Psycho Dream character artwork that came from postcards. ↓

It turns out it was left untranslated and the Super Famicom controller that was originally present within the manual had to be removed for obvious reasons:

The rerelease of Psycho Dream outside of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription alongside on other gaming platforms is finally out, can someone confirm to me if the game's manual within Gallery mode is translated to English or that it's kept in Japanese only?
Since I've only shared this within the other place, someone uploaded the Psycho Dream manual on their blog back in September 16th, 2021:

I wanna take this back, Toei wants to use @.I junk for animation process and this is worrying for future Digimon anime if they go with this. What's also unfortunate with this is the fact they own the rights of Digimon to make anime series out of.

This reminds me that I happen to be part of a community of a particular toy series that was unfortunately short-lived that I remember vividly where the series was finally done in 2016, some of the fans had to deactivate their accounts cause' their online identity was simply build up from ↓
I don't think it's mentally healthy at all. You naturally like tons of things to various degrees, creating an identity and requirement where you can't like a thing because you're a Potter fan and liking an anime series would be cheating on Potter.. I can't see how this would lead to good outcomes
