The future of antibiotics is looking bright — literally. Scientists gave antibiotics a “glow-up” by modifying penicillin to activate only when exposed to green light. The treatment reported in ACS Central Science precisely controlled E. coli bacterial growth and improved infected larval survival.
Green light activates this antibiotic only where it’s needed - American Chemical Society

What frustrates me the most? Every time I contacted them during this long wait, they kept replying with the same line: "It is under review." That alone feels like a world record for misleading communication by a journal's editorial team.

Guinness World Record? 😀 😀
Finally, after 1 year and 5 months, almost 530 days, I received a rejection email from the editor of Phytochemistry Reviews. They stated that my manuscript is not suitable for publication in their journal.

The FDA finally approved Novavax's COVID-19 vaccine; however with strict criteria:
1. for those aged 65 and older
2. for those aged 12-64 with at least one underlying risk factor that puts them at a higher risk for severe illness
