Redoing my intro. Howdy! Southern US gal with multiple chronic illnesses and plenty of hobbies that range from nature photography, to drawing, to jewelry making and taxidermy! Activity is sporadic due to health but I try to post and engage with others whenever I can. Commission and shop info below.
Feeling a bit of post-game depression. I fear interest in Vintage Story is already on the decline among the two friends I've been playing with. I may soon be hosting my own server and gaming group after all. And maybe still Minecraft, although honestly it's just not much fun to me anymore.

I bought some live crickets for the crows since I've never offered them some before but know how much they enjoy bugs. Buuut I somehow forgot crickets jump when I was putting them into a better container inside. So we may have a few in our kitchen now...oops.

A new face! Like I need more characters. But I've had this guy trapped in my head for a while, so I think he's here to stay. Just redoing parts of the sketch before starting the line art. I love drawing deer faces, especially grumpy ones. Much expressions!

*Sigh* Another out-of-focus video. Too cute not to share though. It's so funny to me how sanderlings (?) will appear to be resting but still turn their bodies to keep an eye on everything.

Venus flytrap flowers, specifically those from a flytrap I had named Hydra. It kept blooming, with one flower stalk after another, which ended up killing it. I didn't know at the time how much energy growing flowers costs those plants. Ah well, lesson learned. #flower #plants #naturephotography

today I went looking for a rare bird sighted locally, a vermilion flycatcher. And I found him and got photos! Im very tired but have no regrets. May move those photos to the top of my pile to be edited so you see them sooner. For now, here are a few from said pile as a preview

the nurses allow. Only immediate family has been permitted, so I pretended to be her cousin before. I doubt her nurse bought it though. But I'm not sure they'll let it slide again. I'll try though.

starting to turn the corner for the better again. The doctors plan to wake her in the coming days. Hopefully there has been no brain damage. At this point, i know nothing more and have been doing my best not to dwell on it much. I will of course visit once she's awake and aware again, granted...
