Saying “everything people do is selfish” turns a grain of truth into bad philosophy. Yes, kindness can feel good but that’s not the only motive. Some acts are risky or costly with no reward. Reducing all motives to self-interest isn’t wisdom, it’s just cynicism wearing smart glasses.

I agree, I think some people cant understand unless they experience it. Like it feels horrible that no matter how hard you try you physically can’t workout. Your body doesn’t let you. Plus needing rest is normal. It’s just demonized bc of capitalism. 🤷‍♀️

Remembering the journey today. #Dishydroticeczema is caused by a few things. For me it was a severe systemic allergy to acrylates. After years of pain and gaslighting, so many steroids I found an experimental immune modulating shot and got my life back. No thanks to the doctors.
