I’m running a short research survey exploring how primary teachers and student teachers are using tools like ChatGPT and Copilot in their day-to-day teaching, with a particular focus on primary science.

Practitioner Enquiry Tip of the Week: don't discount the outliers. A lot of research focuses on finding commonality, themes, averages and generalisable trends, but as teachers we deal with more than the majority. We also have to focus on the outliers/1🧵

So disheartening to see that @robinince.bsky.social has been compelled to resign from his show on the BBC as they felt that him expressing compassion for and solidarity with some of the most vulnerable and oppressed groups in our society did not fit with their values.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

The real issue is a system protecting the super-rich while nurses & carers can’t make ends meet. Tax wealth fairly, fund public services properly. This is how we give Britain hope again.
