I read that one awhile back. I enjoyed how she set the story in the period, and it had an interesting premise. But, I had a difficult time buying the main character got away with their deception for so long, or at all.

I’ve seen a store running specials- pricing soda at 12.95/12-pack, but dropping the price to $7 if you buy 4. Or potato chips, $7/bag, unless you buy 5 at $4 each. Not only are prices up, but stores are jacking prices up just to get you to buy more than you need, and they make more.

He’s terrible! During the ‘96 elections I was taking a politics class at the U. I was invited to a private donor breakfast where Gingrich spoke. As bad as he was in public, he was worse when he thought it was “private.” That speech single-handedly drove me out of ever being a Republican.
