As a youngster living in the South I found this to be 100% true, to my benefit. I would get to spend all evening with the girlfriends of all these 'frat dudes' until about 11pm when they all congregated together at wherever the dudes wanted, then they would all go home w their partners. win-win-win

I had a radio show on Sinclair in Miami. Hugh Hewitt's show was on before me. My first day in, they had his show piped into my studio, as was standard practice. My initial thought was, "Not a big deal just let it go."
