Are our gardens safe for hedgehogs? 🦔

Robotic mowers & poisons may be doing more harm than we think.

Join Dr Sophie Rasmussen @drhedgehog.bsky.social on Nov 24 for the Hedgehog Research Virtual Symposium.

Thank you! It is very exciting. We will be offering a hybrid format this year allowing even more participants to take part.
Calling all hedgehog nerds working with hedgehog conservation! Please join me at the International Conference for Hedgehog Professionals in Copenhagen, Denmark 🦔

Fuld af taknemmelighed på pindsvinenes vegne 🫶
Årets pindsvinetælling er veloverstået 🎉

🦔 21374 pindsvin blev indrapporteret på få dage
🦔 20257 levende

How rude of the other hedgehog 🤣🦔 They can be bullies!

Very proud to be featured here and to get such a lovely quote 🦔😍🫶
'This is the story of how I discovered that hedgehog droppings are gold.'

Dr Sophie Lund Rasmussen is using hedgehog droppings to track local biodiversity - revealing a surprisingly powerful way to monitor insects, plants, and environmental change.
