Yup. See also RTD’s Years and Years.
Nah, it’s using fuzzy matching and treating Moffat as the same as Moffett.
Kinda chilling.
I was wanting to post sth about Boom, AI & war.
I’ve been severely rationing my news intake since the pandemic. Need to balance ‘being informed & ready to act’ with ‘being healthy & able to act’.

Thei did the Mash; thei did the Monstere Mash.
The Monstere Mash: beholde, sepulchral smash!
Thei did the Mash, and it kaughte on moost fast -

Well I googled the name of the act + “territorial application” and it pointed me to a Wikipedia entry that suggested the Act applied to E, W, NI, but not S (which has its own act).
Perfectly valid choice in an English context.
Er, hello?
Interesting choice of GIF there …
Yeah, she’s the one who when working for the politically impartial BBC described Jeremy Corbyn ‘leaving his lair’. A memorable phrase.
Long got summers are overrated.
Emily Brontë had it right!
Every time a film of Wuthering Heights yet again reduces Emily Brontë’s radicalism and imagination to something supposedly “relatable” it makes me go back to her poetry and remember how wild and enigmatic she really is. I love this poem on autumn

Fabulous! But at least your parents were there. In 1989, the year it was 99.9% certain I would graduate, my parents double-booked themselves to a holiday abroad and couldn’t come.
I’m still bitter …
I shook her hand when I graduated.
Didn’t curtsy though 😆

What would life be without a TBR pile?
I have to admit that I actually shelved some of mine yesterday in a sudden attack of realism. And the need to actually write something.
It stinks when even reading is tiring.
There's always doomscrolling ...

Weird but kinda beautiful.
It's a false narrative of illegal immigration created by the media (traditional as well as social) which politicians are either unaware of or unable/unwilling to challenge. Where is the leadership?
