PSA by Dr Killjoy? Perhaps. Just the same: please spread the word that it is both a bad idea and inappropriate to blow up glove balloons in an exam room. They are not toys. They are costly. Most of all: They can pose some serious risks, esp with younger kids. #pedsky #graphicmedicine

Just because one does not leave a clinic, urgent care, or ER visit with a prescription for antibiotics does NOT mean that good care failed to happen. In fact, it may be exactly what one needed. (Meaning: Antibiotics do NOT treat viruses, and good supportive care can help). #graphicmedicine #medsky

#Babies are great at 3 things: Eating, sleeping & pooping. #Parents can be mystified by a notoriously unpredictable & ever evolving process. As long as those diapers are filling up and baby seems ok, your likely doing just fine, and worry LESS about the when. (Worried? call a PCP to check). #pedsky
