I’d be happy for my tax dollars to go to ripping out Trump’s ballroom and rebuilding the East Wing.

Does the rule of law still actually function in any practical way in the US, or is it essentially dead in the water at this point?
There is no world in which it is normal for the president to publicly call upon his attorney general to hurry up and prosecute his political foes. It’s like the Watergate tapes but posted on social media. Let’s get a grip on what’s happening here.

Grotesquely messed up hands.

Political parties exist for two reasons:

1. Improve conditions for the top 50%
2. Improve conditions for the bottom 50%

Both parties have COMPLETELY failed at #2.

This America is one of the worst Americas.

Trump can’t be allowed to fail, but:

Epstein files threaten Trump, so:

A massive diversion is needed, and:

Charlie Kirk assassinated.

The wilful ignorance is the point: Who gives a f*ck about the truth? The ruthless and powerful are entitled to lie and hurt and destroy.
1. Azerbaijan hasn't been at war with Albania. Trump confuses Albania with Armenia. But he wants credit, a Nobel Prize, for ending a war in which he can't identify the parties.
2. The Fox hosts are too ignorant or too sycophantic to correct him.
3. Imagine if Biden had said this.
Donald Trump again confused Armenia with Albania in a recent interview, saying he ended the war between Azerbaijan and Albania. The actual conflict was between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh, not involving Albania.

The grift, insincerity, cynicism, hatred, greed, pseudo-Christianity pouring from the far right in response to Charlie Kirk’s death is gross and disturbing.

Remember when Walz called MAGA weird? Still true.

using Kirk’s death to cynically shill his own book is maybe the most honest tribute any of them have made to him
Eric Trump: "Two days after I announced this book, and we see exactly what happened to Charlie. That is us being under siege. That is our party, that is our movement, that is God being under siege, that's our American flag being under siege, that's the family unit in this country being under siege."

The shill never ends. Ever.

Thor is one of the Hindu pantheon don’t you know.
Kashyap Pramod Patel, who speaks Gujarati and says he was raised strictly as a Hindu, appears to have converted to the Old Norse faith.
Kash Patel: "To my friend Charlie Kirk. Rest now, brother. We have the watch. And I'll see you at Valhalla"

And none at all for all the school shooting victims.
Kash Patel: "In 33 hours, we have made historic progress for Charlie."

Many people are saying Kirk had Epstein dirt on Trump.
September 12, 2025 at 12:12 PM
Yes. Of course they know. The cynical deliberate ignorance is off the charts.
Do these two even know that Charlie Kirk hated MLK Jr. with a passion, which included devoting a ton of energy to smearing his legacy while trying to get MLK Day removed as a national holiday?

The visuals of the Banksy mural being removed were almost as effective as the mural itself.

So glad I’m not in America any more. You people are out of control.

We apologize for the Charlie Kirk interruption. Regular Epstein Files programming will resume shortly.

Is this like the new “two weeks”?
Lutnick: "I would say the first quarter of next year will be the best quarter of construction jobs this country has ever seen, and that's gonna roll all the way through '26. So I think you're gonna see GDP growth next year over 4%."

Rep Nancy Mace erupted in fury on the House floor after Rep Sara Jacobs gave a speech sharply criticizing GOP anti-trans viciousness.

On the pod, Rep Jacobs talks to us about the dust-up and about Mace's "cruel" politics. Jacobs is great, don't miss this one:
