Living in beautiful lutruwita (Tasmania). Worn out but still fighting. Legally blind = typos

We shall fight him by land; we shall fight him by sea; we shall fight him in the air, until, with God's help, we have rid the earth of his shadow and liberated its people from his yoke. Any man or State who fights against Nazism will have our aid. Any man or State who marches with Hitler is our foe.
Drove past the Launceston Synagogue. The front railings were completely filled with flowers 🌸 🌺 💐

The PM would have had to attend all fifteen funerals, or none.

He’s spent the last few days doing nothing but work on this issue, even if I disagree with the way he’s doing it.

I understand there is shock and grief, but it may be time to express that in less exploitative and political ways.

"The protests against the Gaza genocide did not contribute to the Bondi massacre.

Over more than two years, vast numbers of Australians have marched against the genocide — and they have done so with extraordinary discipline."

As we listen to Sussan Ley criticise the government over anti-semitism, we’d do well to remember it wasn’t long ago that the Liberal Attorney General was championing the rights of bigots.

Just letting you know that a popular Australia male poster here & on the bird site - who has connections to a well known musician - has sent a female friend of mine unsolicited explicit DMs without her consent.

She had not communicated with him before & is very upset.

Be aware that he does this.

Can we please have "Trending" filters by region? If you're going to allow folk from outside the US to use this site, it'd be great if its functionality catered to us too.

WA is a state captured by the toxic fossil methane gas industry.

The evidence is before our eyes.

Roger Cook still won’t release the report.

He and Labor are not working for the benefit of Western Australians. They’re shoring up the merchants of climate catastrophes & death.

Why? Cui bono?
A secret report – which the WA government itself commissioned – has challenged gas industry and government claims that WA gas will help the world shift from fossil fuels to clean energy.

It's almost like the gas industry has a vested interest. #climate #auspol

A secret report undermines the WA government's claim that domestic gas production is helping the rest of the world decarbonise, while the state's own greenhouse gas emissions rise.
