I’ve finally had time to mostly look through my road trip pictures, so it’s time to post some!
First stop was Fort Robinson in the Nebraska Panhandle. It’s has an infamous history. The small brown building is where Crazy Horse was killed. Still an interesting place to visit. Well preserved.

One might have thought getting booted by Ferrari and having to go to Williams would be the end of Carlos Sainz... but I have to imagine he's feeling a lot better about his season than Lewis Hamilton. #F1

I don't usually chase steelbooks. But I did want these and after being patient through the restock cycles I finally got my hands on them.
Side note: first time ordering from The Movie Room and they really pack their boxes well. I'm impressed.

Bald eagles! There’s an old gravel quarry that’s been turned into lakes and you can see them there sometimes And there they were today. This pair is up in the same tree I saw some in in 2024. Could even be the same ones. #bird 🪶

Finally! I’ve been after this bunch of turkeys for a while. I would always see them when I didn’t have my camera handy, and as soon as I brought it they’d disappear, but not today. #bird 🪶

I have a random urge to watch the Arrowverse from start to finish. From the beginning of Arrow to the end of Superman and Lois is 830 episodes! And I only watched a fraction of it when it was on.

Finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. For the most part it was pretty good. Went off to the deep end in the last couple episodes, but still overall a good watch.

I've been reading through the #Witcher books. I'm now about 2/3 of the way through Tower of Swallows and I haven't seen this kind of refusal to advance the main quest since the last time I played Skyrim.

If you get the chance, check out Death by Lightning on Netflix. very well made, full of great actors, and a part of history that I knew very little about. I only wish it had more episodes.

I saw Nuremberg. It’s not always an easy watch as there’s some real footage mixed in there that’s harrowing to view, but I really enjoyed the film and the performances. I’m also glad they made it now, as it’s got important messaging, even if the worst people won’t recognise it, but the rest should.
