When I had a patient with sudden vision loss and BP way out of bounds, I told him his 17 YO son was going to drive him immediately to the hospital

He protested as it was a brand new car

I told him: Great, so if you stroke out in the car, you’ll get to take your son with you

His son drove
That the Seahawks won despite losing the turnover differential 4:1 is amazing

Imagine if they hung onto the ball
Lauren Witzke is a FAR right personality
- Flat earther
- Anti everything (COVID, BLM, etc)
- Believes in the death penalty for LGBTQ
- Believes 9/11 was conducted by Israel
- QAnon champion
- Ran US Senate in DE, endorsed by Nick Fuentes

This isn't even the 243rd dumbest thing she has said
@bencollins.bsky.social should write up a bit with the current tenant of the building losing his security deposit to to damage to the building.
I looked at all of their post as well.
- Supportive comments = ZERO
- People telling them to crawl back into their hole = 100%

OK, now blocking!
The good news

There are only 16 followers, all of whom seem to be pro-public health accounts who most likely are following for "surveillance" reasons

Bless their hearts, I don't have the patience for that
The Brownstone Institute is now on BlueSky

Anti-vax, anti-public health

First I'm going to look at the followers/following and block most of them, then

Blockety block block
Which is why I’m a cook and not a baker
Very much needed to be said
I didn't get a picture of the best sign I saw today, but I remember what it said:

Somewhere in America
A little Hispanic girl
Is hiding in an attic
And keeping a diary.

A seasoned administrator would know this is not good:
- You make student journalists angry
- You take away their outlet, over which you had some control

They are going to make his life hell for sport

You could have have made this worse by stocking them up on Red Bulls when kicking them out
Already blocked both of them

They can take their BS back to Twitter
There are the "soft skills" which AI is never going to solve

Walking into a room a looking at the patient from 6 feet away, seeing their posture & mood, hearing the tone in the voice

Catching the mood or quiet comments from their partner in the room, which can be a clue to new issues
Old Joke:

A bank board is concerned about a change in the economy

They invite a CPA, a Hedge fund manager and an economist in for a presentation. They got a lot of complicated info from the first two.

The economist looked at them and asked "What do you want the answer to be?"
Other airports have refused to run the videos
- It's not true
- it's a political video

Depends on who controls the monitors

In this case, the airport had no say in it as TSA controls the monitors in their space
Yes, the Hatch Act applies

Both in this administration & prior Trump administration, they have just ignored the Hatch Act.

In this case, as the violation occurred with TSA, the DHS would need to assess the violation and refer it to DOJ if they deemed it warranted

The chances of that happening?

The screens are in the airport but at check points and controlled by TSA

These are the ones telling people how to get through the checkpoint

The TSA came up with this as a work around for airports where they would not play to video
On that point he may not be wrong, which is how an economic “bubble” gets created

People are over investing by billions in a technology that is significantly overvalued

There is always a certain amount of hype in the total market but this amount in one sector is huge

Subprime loans anyone?
At some point, reported need to ask Mikey if someone in the room does know something, is aware of current events or even the rules of congress

The constant “l don’t k ow, haven’t heard, etc” is tiresome
Justin has stated there’s a lot of smart Wall Street people in the market that have invested money in AI - we might want to listen to them

Same guys who bet on bundled subprime loans

Same guys who invested in vaporware in the early 2000’s

Same guys who lost buckets of $$$ and broke the economy?

To ice the cake, the R incumbents holding the town halls essentially told their voters to "suck it"
