Yesterday was silent book club but it was mistakenly announced this morning as being today. At 4th grade recess I look up to see a line of kids at the door clutching piles of books as I’m trying to finish w/a K class. Didn’t have the heart to turn them away! #SchoolLibrary

Had a student stop in & ask for a privacy cover for the copy of Heartstopper he borrowed b/c of the students who are, and I quote, "homophobes".

Just infuriating that kids feel like they'll get abuse for reading a damn book.

I have been on a covering spree this year - covered the brand-new Fahrenheit 451 class novels (would have preferred to order processed, but couldn't), curious to see how they compare to the non-covered. Then realized how many non-covered pbs are circulating, so trying to prevent damage.
