Srsly: yesterday was the first day of the school year (1 month in) that I was not crazy-slammed-busy from before I arrived to an hour after school.

I'm counting that as a win, as it's only our 2nd Sept. we've had a school library - students & staff are flocking in!

Interesting - pretty much every Matthew I've known has preferred their full name. (I did not know this for YEARS for a guy I knew in middle/HS who I called Matt; only after our 20 yr HS reunion did he tell me his preference - which I feel bad about.)

Not sure who started it, but I am now seeing SO MANY commercials that day, "Up to 100% effective."

Technically true, because ANYTHING could be "up to" 100% effective - strapping a bat to your head could be described as "up to" 100% effective.

Told student to put trash in brown bin (which is next to blue bin). She looked at them both, then asked, “This one?” pointing to brown bin.
