Mud in the cave, leaves blown in the entrance and another hole in back, moss lush on the dripline. The mud inside is disturbed so you can put tiny to small minis in there, too.

Another set for Asheville Scarefest! I wasn't about to take a trip home without making some bases that looked like the Southern #Appalachians! These are rainforest cliffs, with moss-covered rocks, leaf litter blown in eddies, and even a cave.

Walking around #tidePools, seeing what you can find is a fun time. How many species do you see on this one base?

Another set of bases for Asheville Scarefest! These are #tidePools, seen on places like California and Portugal. When rocks with hollows in them stick out of the sand at low tide, enough water can remain behind to support critters that are specialized for these habitats!

This'll be a test run to see if vending is worth it to me. It takes quite a bit of time to make bases that stand out, and I don't know if the market for them will be enough to make the venture worth repeating.

I'm gonna be selling bases for #miniatures at Asheville Scarefest's Goblin Market! They're all themed on different habitat subtypes. This set is a black sand #beach. They form in places where the source rock is mafic igneous rock, like Hawai'i, Iceland, and the Canary Islands.

Random appreciation post for @oddfishgames.bsky.social. I've bought packets of their adventure scents the past two Gen Cons. The first one I used in a game (putrid sewers), but the others have all been pleasant scents that are just really nice to open up and smell when I need grounding.

*Finally* got to play my commander for the first time. Level 8 investigator/marshal I'd stopped playing Remastered into the mechanics that didn't exist for her concept years ago. Holy crap, what fun!

I was overly optimistic/careless a few days ago and ended up in a half-week fatigue spell after one workout. Finally back at baseline today. I did some writing and finished some bases. Tomorrow is grocery shopping, more writing, and maybe a small workout. Or might delay that 'til Wednesday.

Where the hell did this "It's a wyvern, not a dragon!" argument come from, anyways? Wyverns *are* dragons in real-world mythology. A heck of a lot of medieval European dragons are wyverns (often with front legs instead of back legs!).
