I think if MS really wants to make a success of a console/PC hybrid system, this is where they should push: these traditionally PC genres that also have Xbox console releases.

If they're subsidising Game Pass, I think maybe they should subsidise this area too.

Anyway, that's my hot take today.
I think games like Civilization VII and Two Point Museum, which are both available on Xbox console and on PC via Steam, should be a focus for MS.

These are traditionally PC games that (I imagine) would scale well to handhelds and it would be good for fans to carry progress across devices.
Microsoft seems to be really pushing the whole "Play Anywhere" feature with Xbox nowadays, no doubt because of the increased console/PC hybridisation (the ROG Ally, rumours of the new Xbox, etc). But I think something they need is to get more big strategy games on the service.
If "old people" think of Wallace Shawn as being from Clueless, I really don't want to know how they define people who think of him as being from The Princess Bride.
She's a god tier troll
Sometimes I remember "I found the ass end!" and giggle to myself
I mean, Taylor Swift reading Wuthering Heights feels like a no-brainer.
My daughter asked me today if I'd ever heard of a band called "McFly"
Went to an early morning kids' screening of Bad Guys 2 today. Absolutely packed, full house of families with young children.

Early on in the film we learn the crew are after a material called "MacGuffinite".

I did a proper deep-throated belly laugh.

I was the only person in the cinema to laugh.
I regret to inform you

I was looking at this M&S Christmas catalogue upside down and for a moment I thought this reindeer was a mince pie with a lovely little cthulu on it.
If they manage to pull this off, and release a proper classic mode that has that joyous Civ gameplay, then I'll give Firaxis all the flowers, as they say. I really want to buy this game! Just give me a good reason! 😉
The prospect of @civilization.2k.com finally adding some kind of "classic" mode is INCREDIBLY exciting. I love Civ, it's my favourite game series, but the Civ-swapping and age-resetting mechanic in Civ 7 is not at all what I want to play. But now I feel like I'm finally getting a new Civ game!
This is probably already on @tfwiki.net isn't it
Has anyone ever found out exactly why certain Transformers weren't released in certain markets? I don't mean why Hasbro didn't release every US toy in the UK, but why it was specially Swoop or Six Shot that never got a UK release. Like, did they think that a pterosaur was the least popular dino?
Is it the Optimus one? I wouldn't have clocked the coloured piece personally (although I don't think it's very *good* regardless) but the line art is so strange it looks generated to me. It's almost a grey scale version of the coloured art, it doesn't show any extra detail or literal sketchiness etc
My daughter any time someone says "six seven" on TV
I'm gonna be honest, nothing quite prepared me for that
Absolutely. It's crazy how young him and Karen Gillan are in that first series together.
When Matt Smith was cast as the Doctor, it blew my mind because he's a bit younger than me. I was older than Doctor Who?

Since then we've had two (possibly three) Doctors who are younger than me, and in all likelihood most of them will be from now on.

I am, in fact, older than Doctor Who.
