On June 15, 1882, the municipality of Selkirk was incorporated.

For the first time, the City of Selkirk has made Selkirk Flags available for private citizen purchase. I'm excited to be one of the first to take them up on it.

Not only is it Father's Day, but it's also Selkirk Day!

I'm deeply proud of my Selkirk roots. My dad instilled a love of this place in me, so the alignment of these two observances couldn't be more meaningful.

My pride of home will forever be entangled with the memory of my dad.
