My Dad felt a responsibility to be an informed citizen and vote. One time in my youth during a political conversation I said, “I don’t care.” My Father looking shocked replied, “You don’t care?" I try to make up for that time when I disappointed him.

I'm vaguely knowledgeable (shoe-bill storks are one of my spirit animals), but I love birds. I have a tattoo of a crane. It's a copy from the Book of Kells.
